TJ Dillashaw is the closest to a perfect fighter, not Jones or Dj.

Tj is the p4p goat, his overall striking is on another planet comparing to jones and DJ. And his wrestling is comparable or even better at some specific takedown like blast double. the only area Tj lacking is his unknown BJJ but it's not as big as a weakness as Jones boxing because Tj got great takedown defense and is impossible to hold down.

Jones has better wrestling and submissions. TJ is right up there for me, but Jones is #1.

Tj has very exciting and every effective style, but remeber he got some problems in both figths against Cody, first fight was saved by bell, and 2nd fight he was also wobbled.
So not saying TJ is bad or something, but trust me he has to finish his fights and take some risks, because UFC doesn't exactly love him...

K...
But Jones would beat his ass, so <Fedor23>

True, dude apparently can make 125 yet he still destroyed an elite WW.

Based on this it sounds like Aldo is still P4P number 1. Great 8 point striker and his Boxing and Footwork only seem to be getting better. Top 5 all time best TDD, GSP like explosive take downs when he actually choses to use them plus a storied BJJ background (though we've never really seen him use it in the UFC).

There's really little question that either him or Fedor are the most complete well rounded fighters the sport has seen to date.

I agree he's probably better than Jon, but not MM. MM is pretty much more skilled everywhere.

<< the closest thing to a perfect fighter ...>>

...wins ufc 231 main event

TJ's on a tear but let's see him clean out his division and possibly move up for a couple of fights before throwing around P4P goat. There are still plenty of hungry lions ready to take on The Snake.

He is very complete, fo sho.

Mighty mouse easily has the better sub game though.

Juicehead Jones shouldn't even be mentioned in the same sentence. Homie is a pathological cheat.

Demetrious Johnson is the most complete fighter the sport has ever seen. He has shown the most diverse set of skills of any other GOAT candidate.

DJ has it all: Boxing, Kickboxing, footwork, submissions, wrestling, takedowns, transtitions, clinch game, tdd, scrambles, submission defense, ko power, solid chin, great conditioning, etc.

Can we wait until he runs through a gauntlet of contenders like the ohters did and until he displays a diverse set of skills like they did?

His striking is excellent. He is excellent. But Jones and DJ are far more proven and have shown they can beat guys in all kinds of ways. TJ has not done this so far. Maybe he will.

I dont remember Jones getting knocked down and on queer street. However i have seen TJ do this and finished. In terms of skills though? TJ is right up there

IMO TJ can make 125 and beats DJ

DJ knew this and ducked the money fight. Obviously this makes TJ better p4p

tj should fight maraes then assuncao again back to back come on lets get this bantamweight train rollin
