Honestly, at this point it makes no sense for Boots to stay at welterweight. He should jump on up as well. This is where all the money & big fights are. Haney, Tank, Teo, Shakur, Garcia aren't going to move up anytime soon. They just going to talk about it as they even avoid eachother.
Could you imagine Boots jumping up to Welterweight and having a Super 8 tournament??????

Not sure. He hasn't fought since Mell KO'd him. That was nearly 2 years ago.

Thats crazy because he was undefeated and was still competitive until the KO. Looks like he's still only 34 too. Now would be the time to get some lucrative paydays at 154.

Yeah. I can understand taking 9 months to a year off after getting KO'd but 2 years? That's leaving money on the table. There's still plenty of opportunities left for him in the division. Hopefully he comes back and rebounds. Gets himself back into title contention.
