Hence why I said, for example. Whatever the outcome, "showing his work" should be a simple matter of keeping good records. Who looks at Mueller and thinks, "That guy is disorganized?"Mueller may not even indict Trump if he finds something. Based on what I've read I'm not sure that anyone knows if he can really indict a president. I could be misinformed on that.
But, I am saying if he has evidence of crimes and recommends impeachment he'll want to show his work, so to speak, to back congress into a corner.
But seriously, keeping good records is the most basic skill a person in his position needs to have. I have no doubt that if he brings a charge of any kind against Trump, there'll be a clear a to b to c line drawn that even Trump can follow. Again, that's why I agree that any reasonable person should want to see Mueller unfettered and allowed to see the investigation to the end. There is every reason to believe that he is thorough and any charge he lays at the feet of the president will be backed up with the requisite evidence (after 3 guilty pleas from others so far) and if he finds no wrongdoing by Trump that he will be equally thorough. It's a win-win.
But just as above ITT, you have people calling for the end of the investigation. Why? Could it be they don't want to hear the result?
