Well, in the vast majority of cases of rape, even violent rape (where this was more rape by authority than force) most people don't take a strong personal stand. Harvey Weinstein isn't really a public figure either. I get that this is in the news, so it's natural to react, but the hazy facts as released so far don't tell a story that creates a strong visceral response. I think folks are getting there through reductive phrasing and equivocation, but it still seems like reactions are stronger than accusations here.
