It feels like Cejudo was told to try and ramp up the trash talk and has no idea what he's doing. There Joe impression he did before the weigh ins was so cringy I nearly turned off the show right there.

Just be yourself. Micky Gall is a good example of how to get interest while still being yourself. I like the way Nik Lentz has been talking himself up recently too. Now that Ben Rothwell has toned down his schtick he's become more interesting. The fighter that tried too hard was Phil Davis. Seemed totally forced.
MM already has plenty of charisma. UFC need to dedicate a PR team to him. He's earned it.

Agreed. Being the champ of Shooto for example is a pretty good honor. Being the champ of Des Moines, IA barn challenge championships isn't.

I always seem to end up recording TUF and I measure my interest in a season by how much I fast forward of each episode. most seasons - 70%. this season - I really only skip the commercials and the horrible dead zones when the coaches try to talk shit to one another.

I don't really like that the winner fights for the title but I love the rest of it. champs from all these other orgs. serious training. great fights.

I dont get why people arent excited for this season.

The UFC essentially killed TUF with over-saturation, so unfortunately, when a great -- the greatest -- season finally comes along, no one's paying attention anymore.

This season's talent is ridiculous, the fights have all been PPV/Fox-worthy, and the dudes are all pros who aren't acting like retards in the house (well, aside from Zulu, but even that was minimal).

Not only is it a great new direction for TUF, they also obtained the rebroadcast rights to include each fighter's cage highlights in their respective promotions.

The sheer paperwork, scouting and red-tape necessary to pull off a tournament of regional champs is impressive.

This is indeed awesome. Bravo UFC.
