This is the most attractive height for men and women, new study reveals

I've always had a napkin theory that people a little bit on the shorter end of the spectrum tend to be better looking or at least more photogenic and thats why so many actors are small. Could just be the only way anyone would take them seriously though.
Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. And if you're 5'8" and handsome, you can probably still get a pretty girl about 5'4" or shorter.

In my experience "looks" are more important than height. I really can't think of a single instance in person of someone discussing that they wouldn't date someone that is "x" height. I see shorter women and men with taller counterparts all the time.

Tall guys getting a little worked up here. The methodology is important though, since the most common heights should get more swipes in terms of pure volume.

Also, I don't understand the methodology (granted I have yet to read the details of the study), but how are you going to use the number of swipes right as your criteria. Is height even played up on dating apps? If they are swiping right without necessarily knowing the height of the person then height is really not a variable that should be getting assessed in that scenario.

Also, how are they controlling for sheer numbers. What if, for instance, there are significantly more people on dating apps who are under 6 ft tall (for dudes). Maybe there's more of the because it's tougher for them to have found somebody. Unless you are controlling for number of people in each height bracket, it could be very skewed.

But, hell, I'm 5'8 so yeah I've got that going for me apparently.

Women don’t know what they want. Never take advice on women from a woman.

Add to that, once they get what they want, they don't want it anymore and it's on to something else.

Sounds like something a Manlet would write.

Shorter guys probably have the nicest faces/bodies on average. That might be why actors tend to be a bit short. So yeah, some short guy on an app might stand out because the height isn't nearly as noticeable as in real life. But in real life, I think height is an advantage, especially all things being equal besides that.

I'd imagine having actors and actresses within a few inchs rather than a foot or more different in height makes filming easier.

Sets can be smaller, it's easier to fit the actors into shot, but realistically it is because the type of people who study drama at school are those that need to get attention through alternative means. Shorter women then get cast to not make the funny manlets look silly.

Oh please, you're 5'7. That's not that tall.

Idk, though, I'm 6'4, so I've always liked tall women. Easier for... Stuff.
If she’s 176cm, she’s slightly over 5’9”. But still, that’s not super tall. I’ve dated taller. Tall women tend to have great legs.

Was that survey done before or after the UK turned Islamic?

Alright seriously now, height is ever increasing thanks to better nutritional access in modern society. People characterize the Little Man Syndrome as Napoleon Complex, but Napoleon Bonarparte (5'7") was actually above average during his time. He was perceived as short because he was escorted by his Imperial Guard Regiment, specifically picked because they were so physically imposing. He also had a very tall wife, which didn't help the perception.

What constitutes being tall has always been fluid. A 5'10" man who lived in the 17th century would have been seen as a giant, but a baby born today that grows to be 5'10" would be considered a manlet among his peers. I wouldn't be surprised if the average height was 6'5" few hundred years down the road.

Funny thing is that while perception of what's tall is always changing, being perceived as tall as a desired trait has been relatively constant. Being perceived as tall does help in dating and career in small ways.

Beautiful Sherdogger Bacco is a 5'7 / 5'8* manlet, that should cloe the case

Sure there are some girls off limits due height, being them too tall or to strict on dating tall men, but that's it

I think out 10 "no" you get like 2 or 3 may be due height

Peoples just love find excuses for not get laid
If is'nt height, it's that they're bald, or donthaveenoughmoney, or fat or that they're TOO NICE and girlslikeonlyassholes(allsluts) etc etc

Manlet and leading the 2018 championship with good margin over Nico, who i think is 6'1 or something like that
Controversial 2017 4th place as a relationship took me months out of the cage
Also the points they did in Budapest should not count, because i've been too bitch to challenge the power's veto and go with them anyway lol

Also we need a standard on what is a 7/10, Luca is keeping ask for full points over whatsapp profile selfies so shooped that they look out of a videogame pic

*173cm

I dunno why height is THAT big of a deal with dudes. Granted I have always been tall so the vertically challenged in this forum could tell me to take my privileged opinions and fuck off :D but either way i noticed alot of girls say as long as the dude is taller than her (and the average man is) than she is good.

Cool.there is hope. Maybe I won' kill myself after all
