If he wins, it will be another W on his record and people will move on.

However, if Conor loses, his career will be effectively over.

Khabib doesn't KO people, he slowly beats the shit out of them. If Conor gets his ass whopped for 20 min, then lose via TKO, his career is done. Conor's schtick is already old, and people don't like him because he's funny, they like him because he wins.
