Amazing fighters don't need to trash talk.
I haven't watched any of this yet, was it kept good natured through out?
Powerful 125k ppv buys
Being broke is classy af
Gotta sell PPV's though, people want to be entertained.....
came expecting a Randy thread.
Here is a real press conference BTW
Best shit ever happened to Sherdog in years..
But Ortega was the one talking, and he's not a champ...
Yeah, Valentina and JJ kept complementing each other. Lol
Yes it was. Both guys respected one another and didn't play into the WWE gimmick too much, except for some cringy Holloway lines about getting on the "bless express" etc. I'm a bit worried for Max though as I think he still sounds very slurry.
both guys were very respectful.
they noted they will probably fight more times, and they are both in their 20's.
they are aware this is the beginning of a good rivalry, and (so far), they kept it very friendly.
I’m just assuming all threads are Randy threads today.
Champions have got to be in good shape, follow the rules of the sport, train sensibly so has to mitigate the risk of injury and fight their challengers on a regular basis. Anything other than that is their business, who cares
I rather count 125 real MMA fans than adding all those brain dead fairweather fans who are trash.
If you look at the sport of MMA future, it is better in the long run to cater to them.
And besides, I disagree with your numbers.
Silva, GSP, Fedor... they could all fill in stadiums at a time where MMA had much less coverage, and without throwing dollies at buses or screaming & cursing the opponent.
And those fans liked those fighters and the sport of MMA, not just a trashy personna.
One of the better press conferences of late, they have a lot of respect for each other while still being confident. It's also good to see there are still some fans with attention spans longer than a couple of seconds.
