This guy and his merry band of sucker punchers can go around asking for as much as they want, that in no way means they will get it, and deservedly so.
350,000 PPV's is absolute garbage.
With the exception of his small, rabid, fanatical fan base, nobody really cares about Khabib.
Conor on the other hand has pretty much broke all PPV records and will continue to do so. Eat it.
That's actually not bad considering what happened to that card. Good on Khabib for being a big draw.
By 2018 standards, that's PPV king material.
Remember, the highest PPV buy rate before UFC 229 was 380,000. That was DC and Stipe. Khabib was able to pull in 350,000 with Al Iaquinta.
350k was pretty good during the time.
He did more than Nate Diaz, Aldo, Alveraz, Mendes.
He's a star, don't hate
So Conor sells fights... big deal. Let's see if he can actually win some. Khabib's stock went up after Iaquinta and after throttling your bromance figure, he's still the champ and he's gaining more fans.
Whores care about money, fighters care about wins and losses.
Clearly, it stands to reason where your priorities lie.
Knowing who he is and paying to see him fight are completely different. Everyone knows what paint is, nobody wants to watch it dry. Khabib is trying to get a big money fight, Conor is the only name that will bring even a million buys to Khabibs name. Not taking the rematch would be ducking and don't say legacy bc he's clearly trying to get money these daysKhabib's popularity has increased dramatically
Dude went from 6mil followers on IG to 12.6mil. A lot of casuals I know talk about him. I think he'll sell a lot more in his next PPV.
