That's not a regular rig. Clearly he's actually utilizing those components to their fullest, so yeah as above states, it's hist job's equipment. That's why I never bother with those, Gaming is all about games and FPS, leave the 3D rendering madness out...

We have a crazy rig at work for rendering flythroughs of point clouds.

Can't remember components but it has two completely separate, high end processor units and a graphics card in the $5k range.

Whole system is around $15k.
