Whatever. Cub vs Superboy was the GOAT fight for me in 2016. The first 2 rounds was like some Tekken video game fight. For that alone, he's got my appreciation forever.



Much like with Tony - action movies being so bad these days - Ferg's body of work, especially that win streak, is a thrilling bunch of action movies. They trump anything else out there. He can post whatever uppercase horseshit he wants now, he deserves it.

Btw, Superboy at LW might be best next. Some fun match ups for him there. Maybe not Tony, wasn't implying that, but someone like Paddy or Drew Dober.

Who would have thought allowing a 25-year-old prospect to take years off his life for 10/10 + the chance of 50k vs a seasoned veteran could return to bite them on the ass?

Many of us thought he would never be the same again after that fight and of course we were right. We will never know how well he would have done in an alternate timeline but odds are better than this.

Corners have got to stop allowing young guys in random fights to kill themselves for peanuts. Not every fight is a championship fight. Live to fight another day.
