I started playing this again as i haven't played the dlcs, i'm only level 26 and its recommended to be level 32 to start the dlcs. I forgot how slow you level up in it.

I finished Blood and Wine around a month ago.

By far the absolute best DLC of all time and its not even close. I thought fallout and elder scrolls had some gems when it comes to dlcs, however Blood and Wine blow any fallout, elder scrolls, or just any dlc in general out of the water.

The vibrancy of color, depth in characters/quests, soundtrack, new enemies/weapons, etc. were just all superb.

I actually liked Blood and Wine more than the entire actual vanilla Witcher III game itself lol. (Thats high praise because the dlc'less witcher III is still one of the best rpgs of all time.

By far one of the most rich games I've ever played and by far the Blood and Wine is a legit 10/10.

My favorite RPG to date. That said, I'm never playing it again. It's too damned long. Still, considering that my two play throughs added up to nearly 330 hours or game time (including the expansions), it's hard to overstate how much I enjoyed the game.

Don't know why I'm asking, I own both and you can't even compare the two. Old Hunters is 6 hours if you stretch it and Blood and Wine is like the entire length of Bloodbornes main game

I'm with you, as usual. 100% spot on. It was absolutely phenomenal. I also liked hearts of stone a ton

It's better than Old Hunters. Witcher 3 DLCs are expansions pretty much, like you said.

I need to go back and finish Blood and Wine. I may even do a 2nd play though of it all I loved it so much.

To the programmers of Gwent card distribution, in-game:

I did not slay 100 monsters, sell their guts for coin, buy a 1000 dollar ride to Skellige, ride 2000 miles to 7 obscure blacksmiths for you to reward my victories with level 2-to-4 monster cards with zero perks.

If I wanted level 2 Gwent cards for my deck, I'm pretty sure I'd drown myself in the sea and save myself the trouble. You are a cruel god. Half your victory drops would make yugi-oh cry. They are so bad.

You have to get the good cards from specific people and games. Google a Gwent collecting guide.

Don't you tell me to google anything. Boo.

Shouldn't have to google if vendors actually rewarded card-staked matches with cards that resembled a prize

Giving someone a level 2 for beating you is something a small child would do

Hahaha well quit your bitching & go adventure & challenge everybody then. You'll get most of them eventually. Gwent prizes are not RNG & you're not going to get them from beating the same bum shopkeeper 900 times

Turns out i wasn't on the last mission.

I thought the battle of Kaer Morhen was the final mission, there's a few more. I'm doing the mission with Avallac'h travelling to the elven world, pretty awesome mission.

nobody said play shopkeeps twice, take the gamerguide dick out of your ears

people literally tell you in-game that they'll forfeit prized cards, then give you No Perk Nobleman the III, so i was riffing on that, not losing my mind

also it's worth noting that entire packs of gwent cards can be seen lying aroung as props throughout the world (the djinis boat, abandoned campsites) but geralt passes them up to repeatedly wonder what water jugs are for
