It's an open bet though, barring the misbehaving, sexually-questionable waigouren

Dodge noted. You obviously realize that I am the more civil of the two of us and fear yet another loss.

It's just a disciplinary measure. You have a ways to go, but I think in time you'll prove yourself.

I wonder which of the two of us is slimmer. That would give us good insight into which of us is more disciplined around food.

Sounds like you're auditioning to be my personal chef.

If over 1,000 ballots are found in a officiators trunk, do we need to report @waiguoren to the FBI?
report him anyway, guys a nutcase, its only a matter of time before an incel rampage takes place...

LOL. I cried like a baby sitting on a toilet after a horrible night in the pits one time. Was pretty young at the time

I saw a guy lose at least 50k at a poker table I was at. I later saw him punching himself in the face in a hallway. Not Fucking around. Big uppercuts to his own face as he cursed

Gambling is just as bad for some as any drug

I chatted it up with some valet at a Casino way back. I don't know if he was fucking with me or not, but he said the job can get rough sometimes because you occasionally come by suicides in the parking lot. This wasn't Vegas or anything. This was one of the few big casinos in Canada, so I asked why you never really hear about it in the news, and he said the casino pays a lot of money to keep those stories on the down low.

I can believe it.

Most media organizations don't cover suicides of unknown people because of the belief that it encourages copycats. The idea that media organizations would be taking bribes (who would even be receiving them?) to cover up a story is pretty nutty.

I don't know about that logic. Why would suicides of nobodies inspire copycats?

Yeah, that part of it did seem a little fishy.

People who are thinking about it get inspired by seeing coverage of people who do it. Not sure how strong the research is on the effect, but it's a widely held belief and it guides coverage decisions.

I wonder if equally good research showed something similar for mass shootings, would these outlets also refrain from coverage. Hmmmmmm.

Probably not. The fear of inspiring copycats is a factor in coverage decisions; it's not the only one.

@Lead, was the wai/Proko bet ever made official? If so, I have priority if wai loses that one, right?
