The other Prey sequel... which wasn't

The sequel to Prey is coming this year.
But wasn't there a game a few years ago that was intended on being a sequel to Prey but during development they just decided to make it it's own unique game with no relation to Prey?

Do you know the game that was originally going to be the sequel but changed? This was early in development. Maybe one of the Crysis sequels... I could be wrong though

Thats why i said yes. Originally it was a sequel but they scrapped it, came up with the alien space station idea and it looks great.

I love the dishonored games and Arkane makes those so im pumped for this

It was just scrapped. It didn't become something else.

It got scrapped altogether. Bethesda wasn't happy with how it was coming along, and just halted development on it. It didn't become anything else.
