This video is pretty cool. Obviously nothing surprising. Feel free to post more matches.

Anyone know why before the ref says go both guys look like they are already trying? What's the point of that?

Hillary lost, get over it.

How long has Larratt been arm wrestling? Years of training yourself for that event, I imagine you just develop that type of strength it takes for that event. He's got smaller arms but his tendon strength, joint and connective tissue strength is honed for this. The big guy, not so much. He's just bodybuilding.

For sure.

I saw this video like three days ago.

I think I'm going to go arm wrestler some random people in bars now.

What kind of rules is that, the Roddie Piper looking guy was getting out of his chair and putting his whole body into it. Why not use the 2nd arm while you're at it.

I dont know much about arm wrestling other than what I've seen on Over the Top, but that looked like cheating.

Arm wrestling is all leverage tricks anyway. Its not really much strength as much about getting a higher grip on your opponents wrist to get a leverage advantage over him.

Agreed. They should have to be strapped down or something

it's not illegal, the big guy actually tried the same technique and it didn't work.

There are like different positions and styles.

Larratt is an endurance guy. He never really slams people, he typically gets pushed back and then fights his way back so the other guy gives up.

You know the Mountain competes in World's Strongest Man not bodybuilding?

Arm Wrestling is a lot about technique that's how the guy was beating not strength.

an example of technique over brute power.

Devon defeated Thor because he's much stronger in the muscle groups required for armwrestling, its really that simple. Then he ofcourse also has superior technique and he knows all the tricks in the book due to his 25+ years career. If Devon went 100% im sure that Thor would had lost even if he was using both hands.
