The Meltz and Coachman got into it over the John Bully Layfield and Mauro Ranallo deal. Now Coachman seems to be giving up his WWE coverage for the time being.

Former WWE commentator and on-air personality Jonathan Coachman, who now works for ESPN, has announced that effective immediately, he will be stopping all professional wrestling/WWE coverage for the channel.

Coachman’s statement of quitting WWE coverage came after he had a Twitter argument with renowned wrestling journalist Dave Meltzer. The argument was about the situation concerning estranged SmackDown LIVE commentator Mauro Ranallo and the bullying/mental abuse allegedly targeted towards him by John Bradshaw Layfield (JBL).

ESPN is kind of shitty not only for discussing WWE but it's MMA coverage.

ESPN"s mma coverage was hosted by Coachman, Chael Sonnen, and Gilbert Melendez. The latter two were on suspension. NO way in Hell would a baseball player suspended for steroids host a baseball show on ESPN.

But why WWE on ESPN? It's not because it's scripted, it's because they lie all the time about everything. You can't believe anything the company says.

ESPN's a bunch of of hypocrites. They say they don't discuss rumors and hearsay, yet their business would be dead if they didn't. Plus, they don't put out the best stuff as not to ruin their relationships with the NFL, NBA, NHL, etc.

What an online bully meltzer is

I don't care either way but Coach is a really nice dude. One of the nicest wrestling personalities I ever met. Tied with Brian Kendrick (circa like 2004 anyway).

Lol at Coach saying "ESPN does not report on rumors in any sport". ESPN and their numerous shows revolve around rumors and gossip. Coach would have been better off not responding than to say ESPN does not report on rumors when that's basically all it does 24 hours a day
