The last time a champ was an underdog

Are you intoxicated or something ?
Max has pulled out only twice in his career first when he stepped in 6 day notice against Khabib and it wasnt his decision and second against Ortega @226 .
He pulled out against Frankie too when Ortega filled in for him

UFC 222

Is he still an underdog?

I thought for sure the lines would shift after he nailed the weight-cut.

He looks healthy and ready to go. I think he likely wins this pretty handily, unless Ortega pulls off something crazy, which can't be ruled out entirely imo.

Boggles my mind that Ortega is the favorite. He's been losing every fight he's won and Max matches up well physically and skills wise

honest question: why is brian ortega so hyped?
he finishes dudes with great just bleed god style but he's always getting his ass kicked in fights until he scores a comeback finish.

plus he is a PED user
Why is an undefeated fighter with a majority of finishes so hyped?

Why? Are you really asking? Losing rounds is irrelevant when you finish fights!
