Also guys who think we wont play as Joel, its basically confirmed his in the game and we could assume you'll play as him.

I remember in the first game, ND were adamant you wouldnt play as Ellie, 100%, guess what happened? Lol.

I think we're definitely gonn play as Joel for some portion of the game. I also think we'll play as that jacked lady in the first trailer, presumably Ellie's mother?

I wanna know how she's so jacked when there is clearly no regular food supply, presumably she wont be getting too much protein, and how where she lifts, when one would assume she's constantly moving from place to place. And were she's getting her supply of roids...

I vaguely recall from the behind the scenes on how Naughty Dog developed this game that originally she wasn't going to be playable but then changed their mind.

Or did they tell us she's not playable but then was a surprise? I didn't play this when it initially dropped.

Imma be finished in a bit, but they straight up say "No you wont play as Ellie". Really nice surprise, but the do lie and mislead often.

You guys sure seem more passionate about SJW games than I do

Gone Home is probably your second favorite game

The biggest SJW in this thread is you ya fuckin' tard but you don't even know how to do it right.

There's nothing SJW about this game at all. The trailer showed gruesome torture and killing and yet you hone in on the lesbian part (which is one of the most popular categories of porn for straight males). "Oooooh no..! Lesbians kissing!!! This game sucks!!!!"

You're as retarded as they come.

I think most of you have already made up your minds about me

So I'm not going to waste my time

Just so that you know, I'm Anti-SJW and Pro-Gamergate.

I despise progressive agendas being force-fed into entertainment franchises, but just because ONE character is gay doesn't mean its to fullfill an agenda.

TLoU is a 10/10 quality game, the absolute best game of the last generation, and some consider it to be the best game they've ever played.

There's a reason why so many are hyped up to play the sequel, nearly 5 years after the original's release.

Oh yeah, it's not something I recommend watching or doing right away. However, it helps keep a game new and fresh long after it's ceased being such for you.
I don't speedrun but I usually start doing challenge runs of my favourite games for the same reason you listed. It really does keep them fresh once you get bored playing casually.

I haven't had the time lately, and I have a busy schedule coming up. However, when I have the time, I plan on streaming challenge runs on Twitch, like no death runs, and once that's completed, trying to do a no damage run. I also want to do a speedrun after that.

As for the lesbian controversy, I don't like political agendas in my games either but Ellie making out in the trailer shouldn't be surprising. They made it very obvious in Left Behind.

I didn't have a problem when they kissed in the DLC. What threw me off way more was just playing as a giddy teenage girl. That was beyond my suspension of disbelief powers.

That's one way of looking at it, and you're not necessarily wrong. However, within that world, it might have to be like that. Joel gets hurt and then Ellie has to put everything he taught her to the test. And she was already a different person when she met Joel than she was during Left Behind. And she was a different person in Pittsburgh when she killed her first person and then ended up killing more. And then she's a much different person in the 2nd game. It's a natural progression.

Homie, you have what I assume to be a homosexual guy in your AV, yet you seem outraged about a little lesbian kiss. <23>{<huh}
That's Layne Staley, LOL. Rock legend who probably got more pussy than all of us in this thread combined. :)

That makes sense. I wasn't really looking at it within the framework and timeline of the story, more so just not being able to identify with a teenage girl. They're like an alien species, lol.

Would be cool if they did an MGS2 bait and switch, and heavily promoted the game with Ellie as the main character, only to have her get captured or killed in the first hour of the game, and then you play as Joel for the rest of it.
