It happenned a few times in Wrasslin' before.
Steve Austin Vs Bret Hart might be the best example of that.

Austin was the heel
Bret the baby face.
At the end of the match, it was the other way around.

Conor was always the heel,
the trash talk, the bus attack.

He tap and lost.
Then Khabib went beserk and started a brawl.
Conor was attacked, didn't retaliate, didn't press charge.
Will he become the baby face lookin for redemption.
Will Khabib play the bad guy from now on?
He's unapologetic, now threating the UFC & NSAC.
All heel move to me.

First thing I thought when it all unfolded tbh was Austin vs Bret. Kudos.

Conor actually didn't tap, it was a screwjob by Dana White!

Khabib didn’t go berzerk. He hit Danis because the dude asked for it.

It’s what men do.

Pretty much. Bret also took himself way too seriously, whinged about being screwed out of a titleshot in favour of the bigger draw Hulk Hogan just like Khabib in 205.

Myself and a few friends actually discussed this exact situation after it happened.

A Vicious Russian/Muslin beast Vs a Charistmatic pretty boy.

The scenario fit better with reversed role tbh.
