Been shovelling for a few days now, there was a blizzard on Tuesday and it has not stopped snowing/drifting. I was already fatigued this morning, so I didn't bother with much volume or doing anything after squats.

I am still in retail store management, I have a new store now and it had reinvigorated me for now.
 
I remember a while back you saying retail management had ruined your life, so at least you're on the up and up brah.
 
Make no mistake, my life is not a desirable one, but at least I don't loathe going to work now, it does eat up a lot of my limited family time, but that will get back to normal as I integrate myself into store operations more effectively.

I don't even have much desire, of late, to lift. I'm hoping that desire will return in time.

You have to keep the balance man. This last year I dropped off the BJJ training pretty hard as I was getting this new job rolling, essentially had to generate £300k worth of new business and build it up. When you finish the working day the last thing you want to do is go and roll with some 20 year old MMA fighter who sees your belt and wants to beat you for his ego. With lifting I was paying for a coach in Tom Martin and it kept me consistent because I would be throwing money away if I fucked up.

I'm not sure what to advise you, maybe just keep punching the clock. "In time, this too will pass."
