The Fighter highest box office in modern times for a combat sports movie ?

Boxing has an aura that makes for great movies. MMA has an aura that makes a bunch of guys wearing black TAPOUT and AFFLICTION t-shirts flood the bar when Ronda Rousey fights.

Personally, I thought Warrior was a very good film.

The only problem with it was the trailer, which revealed a huge fucking spoiler.

Rocky Balboa is a fantastic film which I can watch over and over again. Still hits me in the feels.

Southpaw was a very generic, rehashed mess of a film which we have seen numerous times before.

Never Back Down was an entertaining popcorn film...a guilty pleasure movie...I would put that in the same category as Road House.

RedBelt was more for a mystery/thriller film...but nonetheless very well done flick by David Mamet.

Creed was good....I wasn't blown away by it, but great performances by Michael B Jordan and Sly Stallone....they also had very believable chemistry on screen.
