US foreign policy is a symptom but not the illness. The US, from a top down view, has never been a moral entity. From wholesale slaughter of the natives to owning slaves the US moved onto financial terrorism and colonization.

Conservative support of Trump completely ruins their credibility on morals and family values... especially when you consider their hatred of Obama--the most moral and value oriented president we've had since Carter.
