The anomaly of The Black Beast

My new favorite 2 moment for a post fight interview back to back gold.

What impresses me more is how he ALWAYS survives on the ground with these guys

Outside of Derrick Lewis is there a fighter out there who has as many come from behind wins in recent times?
In his bouts with Peśta, Nelson, Abdurahimov, Browne and now Tybura he was on the brink of defeat before landing one of his bombs

Until the scorecards were read, I thought he had gone past the brink in the Nelson fight.

After watching the first 2 rounds i thought he would lose a UD but he somehow came back and ended the fight, doesnt matter if hes tired or beaten up one punch can change the outcome.

I know he was clearly losing but can I really count it as a come from behind win when I expected it to happen. Aren't come from behind wins suppose to be unexpected?

Long live the Beast

Until the scorecards were read, I thought he had gone past the brink in the Nelson fight.
Yea I think if it wasn’t for that one punch from hell Nelson would have secured the decision.

WAR the black beast! Love watching the guy fight. He pounds down a case of beer the night before weigh ins.

Nobody does swangin and bangin like BB

Yea the way he just got up when Gonzaga was on top of him still trips me out.

Brian Stann said it best

You get so far with him on the ground you may even get mount or side control

But when he decides it's time to stand up, he just .. gets up

So funny but true
