The 2nd Amendment...

Better start speaking to people about a change of heart . . . because that's about the only way this change is going to happen. Violent criminals aren't likely to go away anytime soon and I'll continue to advocate for folks to keep the ability to defend themselves with their legally purchased firearms.

In the US? Sure..

I just wouldn´t want those gun laws here where pretty much no one is armed.

What gun laws? The law that requires an FFL if you're engaged in the legal business of selling firearms? The law that many states have that allows a private citizen to sell their firearm to another private citizen without a background check? The law that allows the concealed carry of a firearm without a license in many states?

Or the law that prohibits known felons from legally purchasing a firearm? Or the law that requires FFL holders to complete a background check on customers before transferring a firearm to them?

I don´t want guns so easily available here as in the US. Quite simple really. So pretty much the entire 2nd and everything that follows I wouldn´t want here.

So you want to be 100% dependent upon the authorities for your protection?

Now the second is about protecting home and person.

If anyone thinks they can take on the Gov't with a gun they are and idiot.

Take the gov't to court and get a good civil rights lawyers that will take the case pro bono(to those right-wingers those lawyers aint republicans)

Lol at who you think is in the government

40 million deaths attributed to Stalin is absurd though. Most accurate trusted sources claim him at 20 million deaths MAX.

Of which 7 million were Holodomor.

Also, got any sources which allege it was intended? I do not know much about it other than a little I have read.

Also, why do you think most of the world doesn't view it as genocide? Even the eastern world doesn't.

The horrors of Communism in Russia are glossed over in large part because it is politically inconvenient. Western intelligentsia and the powers above that have a hard on for Marxism as a mechanism for establishing control over society.

Why would they portray something they are pushing, in a bad light?

It serves their interests to focus on the Nazi's and demonize them without also balancing that out with focus on communist systems, which makes Marxism more attractive to the unlearned by comparison.

It also makes sense that China would be sweeping communist led famines under the rug.. Mao is taught to be a good leader there from my understanding.

The American military is funded by a free market, Capitalist economic system.

Bullshit a taxation system funds it you idiot. Did you eat paint chips as a kid?

Where is "here"?

The filter between my brain and keyboard didn't work.

I know that the primary reason for the right to bear arms is as some kind of protection against tyranny.

My question is, when does the people's right to revolt become valid? When the majority of our citizens become disillusioned with the government? Is there a certain critical mass that must be reached?

What kind of oppression would be required by the government for you guys to think that exercising your 2nd amendment rights would be ok? Does the Patriot Act qualify? Wars on Drugs? Asset forfeiture laws? Obama spying on Americans? Unfair taxation? Gun control? All of those added together? Or only just full blown martial law?

For example, if Trump enacted a police state in order to quell rioters or something, would you be willing to give up your freedoms for more protection (curfews/checkpoints/stop and frisks/etc)? Or would that be an act of treason against 'the people' and taking up arms against the state would be justified? What if, in order to root out Muslims, Trump wanted to send ICE into each and every Americans home to search for them? Would you open your doors?

I guess what I'm asking is if our government is basically free to do what they want, up to a certain point, where is the line drawn in the sand? And how many people need to agree that this line was crossed for people to justifiably revolt?
A good example would be if the Government (any government really) turned its artillery onto the citizenry en masse.

Rights are nothing more than the necessary conditions of one's proper existence.

The situation I described would be a violation of this standard.

The right to revolt is when the government turns their guns on the citizens

But that was mostly due to geographic locations. Which caused a lot of wars.
If you put the Kaiserreich into the USA territory it would also never have overthrown.

But if you put the USA right in the middle of Europe into the size of France the government would have most likely been overthrown also.
Just due to wars alone. And being close to other political influences. Which the US simply never had at its doorsteps.
It's not that their political system is superior but their geographic location isolates them better from outside factors.

Our political system is inarguably superior.

True. We have the best of it. Traveling Europe exposed me to the fact that nobody really knows wtf is going on.

Now if that's a fact, am I lying?

I'm sorry I can't make heads or tails of your post.

Taxation from what? An efficient Capitalist system, not an inefficient Socialist system. Why? Did you eat paint chips as a kid?

Courts are a branch of govt, no?
So you're going to fight the government... in the government's system.. with government appointed people being the Judge of your argument against the government?
