Terminator II's biggest plot hole:

According research, 91.7% of people that accuse a movie of having a "plot hole" don't understand what a plot hole actually is.

Thats not a plot hole either. He was severely damaged and went home to fix himself.

You guys are nit picking.

TS- he didnt do it because he didnt do it. There was no point being on the phone so he hung up

No. Terminator does not ‘go home and fix himself’ when his target is right in front of him like that, in the garage. He keeps coming forward, trying to kill, even if his body is being trashed. Like at the end, in the factory. That’s kinda the whole point. “He doesn’t feel pain, and he absolutely will not stop.” It was a plothole, plain & simple. Still a classic masterpiece of a film though.

Youre just assuming all that. The very next scene he is in fact fixing himself

I’ll fix YOU in a minute!

Ok, this is my favourite movie of all time. But I sometimes find it fun to call out certain things.

Remember the scene where The Terminator was using John Connor's voice at the payphone, talking to the T-1000?

He figured out that his foster parents were dead when the T-1000 didn't know the name of the pet dog.

He then abruptly hangs up the phone and informs John Conner his foster parents are dead.

--what he should have done.

By hanging up the phone the T-1000 immediately knows he's on to him.

He should have told the T-1000 to wait there and I'll be home sometime between now and tomorrow morning or something. Then the T-1000 would have stayed behind and the terminator would have had more time to leave the city with his Mom.

No it's a plot hole cause it's a dumb move from a smart robot

Even a dimwit would know not to slam the phone down all obvious like

Even if he said "hold on" it would've been better

Ok, the first time - they sent Arnold to 1984

Later they sent T-1000 to 1991 .. or was it 96? Either way, they should have sent T-1000 to 1984 then

Later they send the TX back to 2005???? NO!!!! You got a third time machine opportunity, have her join up with them too

Send them ALL back to 1984!! Spam 1984 with robots!!!

Until you consider that sending the first Terminator back in time changed the timeline.

The whole existence of the T-1000 is a gigantic plot-hole anyway. Reece explains in the first film that the t-800 was brand new, state of the art technology, and the resistance had all but won the war by the time it got sent back. There's no time for the machines to develop something much more advanced than the t-800 and the inorganic time-travel needed to send it back.

If they could send back inorganic things, why not just spam 1984 with these things.

If they sent giant kill bots from the future that’s gonna HEAVILY affect our timeline. We are not making advanced tech for a WHILE
