    Does anyone teethgrind?
Do you believe it effects your chin durability?

I teethgrind and my mouth position has changed. I'm afraid it will weakened my chin.

I bought night mouthguards off the rack and they have changed my bite or else made my gums bleed. And custom made by doctors are said to be 500$ and over.

I'd say it probably strengthened your chin, due to additional bone growth (tori) in your jaw...or something.

I grind my teeth. I have TMJ due to teeth grinding. My jaws were hurting on it's own. I had to wear a prescribed nightguard. It's better now but I realized I have weak jaws.

Even with mouthguards on, a weak ass hook, have messed up my jaw a few times. It's not dislocated or anything but it felt like that. Sharp pain in the jaw for days. I couldn't even bite down. I was eating porridge for days.

Even if I bite down on the mouthpiece, with a good hook, I can still feel my lower jaw move out of place. I can never be a fighter cuz I have a feeling it's easy to dislocate my lower jaw.

Well you know the OG way to strengthen 'chinnyness'; chew pine resin and do neck bridges.

i say i got a pretty good chin.
what if i strengthen it more and it only does more damage by helping grind my teeth more?

Learn how to not get hit in the face and don't take unnecessary head trauma/brain damage.

Also, be in good shape and well conditioned, that helps too. Grinding your teeth or whatever wont do shit.
