I suspect PFL offered him more money rather than him being cut this time. France is PFLs main non American market probably so he's worth quite a lot to them I imagine.

He had a 4 fights contract and was free to see others deals.
He was disappointed with how low was the new UFC contract so he went with PFL.

I only said probably but your claim is interesting.

Parnasse, Vartyan, Artem, Lapilus, a lot of fighters are refusing to sign for the UFC or get out of the UFC due to low pay concern.

Is it a good idea for PFL to overpay a 19-4 fighter, probably not though.

A very good fighter who does not engage enough. Its never easy to do so but it explains why they did not throw more money at him (that plus the fact they are cunts). Now he signs with PFL, an awful org, runs by people who seem determined to destroy the roster they have with their tournaments bs, their hideous production and their non existing marketing. They find him boring so they don't bother in giving him a better deal than he could get elsewhere, probably don't think he'll make the transition into a full-fledged contender either, very simple in this instance.

Doesn't hurt than PFL is very keen on the french market either, and as such they'll offer good deals.

This. I mean just winning sometimes isnt enough. Either UFC was like nah or more likely they just offered him the next tier of pay thinking he's not exciting, he's not a top ranked guy or will be in our opinion, take it or leave it. And like you said PFL can give him little or way more money, whichever it is and use him on the regional europe scene.
