Tai Tuivasa was only paid $20K for his headliner in Adelaide

korean zombie made $24k to headline the 25th anniversary show a couple months back.

the numbers are real folks.

how the hell you think dana, lorenzo got the ufc to become the first fight company valued at $7billion dollars?

While other organizations pay fighters fare wage for their dedication, long term injuries, surgeries etc, ufc continues to shaft it's employees. that's how you grow.

same way multi national companies pay employees 4 cents an hour in asia in order to grow and keep their bottom line plump and rich, the ufc penny pinches it's fighters.

welcome to life. sucks doesn't it

Yeah it’s grim it is
But it would fuck up the whole system if you start throwing 6 figures at people that won’t be in the sport that long
Eco system needs people like Tai to feed the bigger fish or become a big figh himself
Start chucking 6 figures around and people get lazy and don’t wanna fight

Rough game

Or they may be motivated to fight more because they can actually make a good living.

I agree not everyone can get paid 6 figures but the arguments on here that he is not a draw seem silly when he is the headliner higher up the card than shotgun or hunt seem silly.
It's especially annoying to see people argue that he should have a better contract etc. When obviously he had to take what was offered if he wanted to fight for the ufc, if that was all he was paid its an absolute liberty
