The only survey ever worth participating in.
Hey, if this is how you get the feeling of accomplishment, then go with it. Meanwhile the world keeps turning.
This is the type of reply I was hoping for. Thanks.
I've been polled by the Discovery Institute multiple times.....
Before we took out our land line I was part of 3 surveys. 2 were political surveys and one was for Little Csesars
I did Nielsen once also, but there wasn't a box. You wrote down everything you watched each day - they still cancelled my shows.
So were you picked randomly or did you volunteer your info?
They just called and asked if I'd participate.
Ok. I am legit curious as to how they contact people and their sample sizes go. Seems a bit off to say 49% of whatever country think this, when they didnt ask everyone in that country.
I don't know how they got my number.
The gereral idea is that if you randomize the calls you end up with enough responses to account for everyone.
I've never been contacted for political surveys. I've been contacted for consumer/advertising surveys, but didn't qualify because I don't watch any television. I also got invited to a product evaluation where they paid you $100 to drink their Iced Coffee and provide feedback (didn't go as I was travelling).
