I'm going to the Ohio State/Michigan State game tomorrow at Spartan Stadium, and it reminded that as much fun as it is to see your team at home, being the visitors is as good or better. At home it's the whole "defend our house", and if I see visiting fans I'll playfully boo when they walk by.
On the road though you get to be the "invading army", and I get just as much joy out of being the ones that are boo'd. Plus if your team is kick the crap out of the home team...I'm that jackass that stands up and turns around popping "the bad guys uniform" at the other fans. I make sure to show I'm being good natured about it, and haven't been shanked or had beer poured on me yet. It's just part of the fun in being a fan.
