Supplements for Pre/during and Post Grappling

    Hi Guys,

    I've been grappling for around 5 years now and I've never really put too much thought into nutrition but as I get older recovery fitness during rolling is getting tough!

    I life twice a week and have hard rolling around 3 times a week,

    I usually consume a banna and bcaas before class and a recovery shake afterwards, is there any supplements that could help me for pre-workout? I've heard that a protein shake is good to have as part of preworkout meal, but I have no clue what kind to take.

    I've seen articles on the benefit of intra workout supplements such as workout fuel but Im unsure if these are worth the money??

    Any thoughts appreciated,

    I think before any of us give serious suggestions we need to ask; what high level are you at that these are necessary over water and food?
