    What the?! How the?!

Shohozan had double inside grip on the mawashi and kisenosato managed to shrug him off and rag him to the floor, I thought for sure he was losing that one

Awesome for the stablemates so far, both looking great

good job by hokutofuji to win against takanoiwa here. i couldn't even tell where he got hit, but from all the blood and his staggering around it looked like he got rocked at some point.

good to see terunofuji showing some strength again as well. hopefully his injuries are more or less behind him.

and conversely, it's looking bad for harumafuji.

i thought the blood was from that initial collision, you can totally hear their skulls smack.

it seems like there are quite a few people pre-injured at this Basho?

i really hope Hakuho isn't thinking about retiring....

great to see terunofuji showing this kind of strength. i really hope his injuries are more or less behind him, but i've thought that before and been mistaken.

the strength vs. strength match with terunofuji and kakuryu was awesome.

and great to see harumafuji with that kind of speed and effectiveness, but hopefully kisenosato isn't too badly injured. looked quite bad though.

wow, what an end. i really can't believe kisenosato was able to come back and beat terunofuji twice, especially after how weak he looked on day 14.

that was like takanohana's legendary win over musashimaru in a playoff after (i think) being injured in their match that day:

i imagine this win is pretty huge in japan and must be all over the news.

    amazing tournament for kisenosato.
