Go to the bottom of your screen and go click on the pages icon, go to “request desktop site” and boom!

Haven't tried on iPad yet, but the version from days ago was hard to see with orange text on black background and at least it did give the desktop version that I had bookmarked rather than autodetect switcheroo.
