Hey guys, any advice on how to cope with the workload of assignments/dissertation etc? I have under 4 months to write out 10,000 words and granted that i've a bit of time I'm just unable to begin/commit. I get stressed out very easily when it comes to studies. I have made a timetable and know what it is I have to do but just can't commit to or be disciplined enough.

    Any suggestions/ideas?

    Thanks in advance.

What you need is to be disciplined and commit. So commit yourself with discipline, and discipline yourself to be committed

lol my answer was going to be Adderall or Vyvanse. May sound like a joke but seriously......pop one and next think you know its 12 hours later and you have already written 12,000 words.

Do a read over sober a few days later, and then maybe one more adderall for the finishing touches. Shit is literally a lifehack if you dont abuse it too often.

Just make sure you dont exceed the recommended dosage OR combine it with any other brain stimulant. That combination is actually considered a schedule 0 drug. Its so powerful that youll end up cracking all of lifes secrets and become super-sentient

What are you writing your dissertation on?

For me, I found actually writing both my master and bachelor theses the easy part because I had been immersed in what I was writing about for months. By that time I had and understood all the information I needed and only had to write it down. I was a science student though, so I had to perform experiments and had buttloads of data to write about.

Fuck the time-table and make a solid outline of the sections you need to include. Then start adding in key points you want to discuss. From there it's easy to start breaking those key points down into paragraphs. When I was doing my lab courses for my engineering degree each week we had to do a lab report that usually ended up being 10-12 pages (single spaced) so that's at least 10k words. It was a pain in the ass but lab reports are a bit easier because they are already broken down into sections and this is what I'm suggesting you do to get started.

    What's your dissertation on?
