I am about to 'unbox' mine (for the new Star Wars) and now I am afraid that it will be two sizes off and without the rashguard liner and maybe stitched in a way that I would have to wear it Kriss Kross. I don't even look forward to finding it and taking it out of the packaging now. Fuck.

That is the sweetest gi I have ever seen, and it's a GOLD WEAVE! I already pre-ordered the rook II cause I wanted a new white gi so bad then of course this comes along, lol. Anyway to cancel the rook II? Seriously the nicest gi i've seen how is Strike as far as quality goes and cut? Is it cut alittle big? I'm 5' 8" between 165 and 170, would A1 do it?

The mix and match, and lining or no lining options are awesome. As is the pricing. More companies need to do the same!!

They run a bit smaller than Shoyoroll in my opinion, they have a very nice tailored fit. It's a gold weave and gold weave does shrink around 2-3% so be cognizant of that. It's ultra soft and comfortable though. Sizing chart:

It's available now my friend :)

    Thanks James!

Not sure what you're referring too, the rashguard is built into the gi and it's a pre-order so all the sizing options are available.

Also I updated the original post for links to the store(s).

I'd like to see someone review the durability of this, and the stitching quality. The gi looks very nice though.

I have the gi right now (only Dan and I have them, currently) and I can attest that the stitching is fantastic. As far as durability, I won't have info on that until about 6 months from now, but I can say that since we went with a high quality gold weave and solid pants material, as well as the fact that Strike is known for making qualtiy gis, this gi will last a while.

Because it's Gold Weave there may still be shrinkage. I just added the A1L top and A1 pant option for you in the drop down options. It will probably show up at the very bottom of the drop down :)

The A2 fit me a smidge smaller than a Shoyoroll. When in doubt go bigger I always say. As it's a Gold Weave and Cotton pants you should be able to shrink it more so than say a pearl weave and ripstop pants.

Personally, I am not a Star Wars fan; additionally, I feel like I have found my 'brand' of GI that fits my body, but fuck damn shit is this kimono not pretty looking. Add to the fact that I exclusively wear white-coloured kimonos, and the blue used here compliments the white so much -- instead of being so blatantly contrast it is soft and I would suspect may make you want to enter its realm (guard) -- I am getting this. I cannot stress enough how beautiful I think this design is. Kudos to everyone involved with it. Hopefully you guys don't get sued. Ha. - E

Thanks man! There's no star wars logos anywhere on the gi so it's not a copyright infringement. It's just inspired by the planet Hoth. We wanted it to appeal to SW fans and non-SW fans alike, so we didn't put any Star Wars stuff on the gi. It does say "Roll with the Force" on the embroidery though, which is a a nice BJJ concept as well as Star Wars concept. :)

You are right around Brendans size and he got an A3, I'll have him jump in here and let you know if it fits him perfect or not.
