Wong still has to make it through top 16,32, and whatever else. An easy starting pool means shit when there are over 5,000 players.
 
Who's the Sherdogger here that plays SF at Evo every year?
 
Looks like either Daigo or Tokido will be going home early. Tough break for those two.

They seem to want the game to appeal to all age groups including infants. The emotional level of the story is somewhere below a 90s Saturday morning cartoon.

It's really confusing to me because there have been SF animes with a more mature feel, and the lore of this game could be quite deep if they only approached it seriously. I wish they got a professional writer to create a canon story that actually develops the characters, and make it PG-13.

The story was so disjionted and nonsensical. It was every annoying trope of anime I hate rolled into one.

Hopefully, tekken 7's story is better. And if not, there is always injustice.

Exactly what I've been reading. Either Daigo or Tokido will not make Top 32. I can't find the discussion but someone laid it out by pools.

These things do happen with so many entrants but it still sucks.

Though brackets of death can be very exciting. Can't remember which event it was but the one Marn won the bracket of death was fucking awesome to watch.
