talking about bruises is for mongloids,because you need one punch to get bruise, and every fighter will react to punches differently based on weightcut, type of skin, wear and tear, scar tissue, number of fights etc.

I had Rose throwing fewer and landing more in 1, 2 and 5. I'd have to go back and look, but Rose has much better movement than JJ and was slipping enough where JJ went to the body in the middle rounds and stayed focused on the lead leg. I'm not a fan of JJ, I thought she was going to win with that strategy, but Rose powered back and easily took the 5th.

I thought it was a great fight, especially for WMMA. At the end of the 4th, I thought JJ was going to win. I had it 2 and 2, with momentum going with JJ, and the leg kicks/bodywork wearing down Rose. I have asshole friends who don't like Rose because her hair is too short, and they'd been whining about "Oh, JJ just got caught, she'd win an outright war...if it went 5 rounds, she'd break Rose..." and I thought I'd have to hear it forever. Instead, Rose shut that shit down. It was a fun fight, and close going into the 5th....but it wasn't controversial and it certainly wasn't a robbery.

Rose has been out for too long, and as Askafan mentioned, Nicco Montano had less than 1 year to defend her belt, not being able to led UFC to strip her. Same could happen to Rose, and it should.

I did. I watched the fight. The TD was to show she still had legs. She'd already bobble-headed JJ earlier in the 5th and had her on queer street.

I used to be a fan of Rose coming off TUF but there's no doubt she got some of the most preferential matchmaking this side of Conor on her way to the title. She beat Joanna twice, proving she's better than her but styles make fights. She still hasn't fought a single top wrestler in the division since Esparza dominated her in the TUF finale.

It's pretty weird that her resume contains no Gadelhas, no Andrades, not even a rematch with Esparza let alone up and comers like Suarez who may be the best of them all. Rose might beat them if she's improved her grappling like she did her striking. It sure would be nice to see before another year is up.
