Stormy Daniels - "affair never happened"

I actually think Trump does care about Abortion. He's been on record for that for decades, and based on his actions in Office (remember the big ass bomb he dropped on Syria after they gassed kids) he seems to genuinely care about kids. Most parents do after having kids of their own.
How many abortions do you think Trump has had to pay for in his career?

What's your point? That getting an abortion means you don't care about kids? There's a lot of Pro Choice / Planned Parenthood supporters on both sides of the aisle that would vehemently disagree with you. ;)

considering Trump went on record to say women should receive some form of penalty for choosing to get an abortion, I'd say it's pretty rich.

However I'd have to wait for evidence that he indeed pay some off to get an abortion.

Why talk shit about someone' s family at all ?

It was a quick trigger reaction honestly. I was going to post something along the lines of “Damn that was brutal” but then in popped my response. I guess next time I’ll be more PC when dealing with people who have issues with PC culture.

100%. I come into these threads sometimes to see if there is any thing really news worthy and take a glance. Nothing newsworthy here, but I know you from the boxing forum and when I chimed into this thread, I saw you were beefing with someone, and was interested to follow. I don't get worked up over these political things, just kind of stunned by how serious people take a topic like this one. Like it is the end of the world. That dude got so worked up to attack someone's family, just like some are acting like it is a huge development.

Two disgusting people had sex a decade ago. Any further development will change the course of this presidency, let alone anything relevant to our daily life? No, i don't think so.

Haha me worked up? It was a 6 word response you clown following on something someone else said.

I forgot, in the post Trump world, hypocrisy doesn't matter.

Hypocrisy in Politics came long before Trump. There's plenty of hypocrisy on both sides of the aisle. I do agree that it only seems to matter if it goes against one's Political point of view. ;)

No one really cares. Once people realize he can't be booted out of office for it, they'll stop talking about it.

great debate guy, you just ignore my points and say your previous point again.<mma3>

Should we not judge criminals for theft and murder because some cops have committed theft and murder?

Because I made my point. Infidelity doesn't ruin people anymore. We don't live in a moralistic society that cares anymore.

As for the evangelicals, I already pointed out that they are going to support the guy who's ideals most closely relate to theirs. Probably not the gay wedding cake and bathroom confusion party.

Political discussions by their very nature are extremely judgmental. Nothing new there. My point is that the judgements seem to shift depending on how well they line up with one's particular Political viewpoint and it can change from day to day. I've seen both parties vilify the other for doing the exact same thing they've done themselves. Nothing new there either. It's why people hate Politicians. ;)

This is true, however one side is always worse than the other, and round and round we go.

I'm not convinced that's what is happening with Trump (at least not to the extent that so many people like to claim); but even if it is more significant than I'm giving it credit for, there is good reason to hold him particularly accountable. He is the president and wields more influence than any other single politician. So yeah, it bothers me more when he's openly hypocritical than it does when it's some Democratic senator or House rep.

So even if that is why people hate politicians, I don't think it's a particularly good reason to expect people to simply throw up their hands and say, "well, they all do it."

"We don't live in a moralistic society that cares anymore" is literally the battle cry of evangelicals about how society needs to change, and they are actively trying to elect candidates who will implement their morality. And so far, the gay wedding cake/ trans bathroom/"Roe vs. Wade means murder" folks are condoning Trump's behavior. Sure, there are conservatives who just ignore that aspect of Trump's life the way Bill Clinton supporters did 20 years ago, but let's not pretend that this isn't a big shift for the Republican party to condone a married guy banging a porn star. And, let's not pretend like Trump isn't lying about this and isn't fighting to keep this story from being told. He hasn't even had his Jimmy Swaggert moment yet.

I was simply pointing out that you can find Polls that will support any view you choose.

Trump got the same amount of total votes as GWB in his re-election. Once you look at the data. You'll see in the past four presidential elections the republican candidate has received near identical total votes in each. This is an indication that same amount of people will vote R regardless of the candidate.

No he hasnt. He was pro abortion as recently as 2012. He miraculously had a change of heart when he decided to run for POTUS.

Do you mean percentage?

Even if it's proven to be true, It's not going to change one Republican voter to a Democratic one. That's the bottom line.

I think the dems would have won running anyone besides Hillary. There jis ust a lot of distrust of her in the US.

I'm a pretty conservative guy and I haven't batted an eye at any story of infidelity since the turn of the century. I personally find it unfortunate that the sanctity of marriage means so little today, but hey- it does. What do you want? Am I supposed to abandon my beliefs and support someone who doesn't make sense to me because a guy cheated on his wife?
