50% of the US will be unemployed and on "government assistance" by 2040. previously automation has only taken away manual labor. this time automation and big data are also taking away white collar jobs.

the only future is high taxation of automated factories and data centers. this will provide income, healthcare and quality of life for the rest of Americans. this is something that hasnt ever actually existed. the US has always had a huge poverty rate and income inequality throughout its history.

imagine all the truck, cab, manufacturing, banking and IT jobs essentially gone in massive numbers. that is where we are heading. that's not including fast food, retail and other easy to attain jobs that many people rely on today.

the gap from the 20% to the 5% to the 1% to the 0.1% is logarithmic.
