*Overeem just beat arlovski and jds and on 4 fight winning streak And its in his eco form.i world even argues ecoreem is better than ubereem base on the werdum fight.
* arlovski was on 6 fight winning streak when he fought stipe,even more than when he fought arlovski.
* Ngannou was 9 fight winning streak and just destroyed arlovski,overeem and curtis.
*jds was looking amazing in Rothwell fight before he fought stipe.even though that’s not prime jds but he’s still amazing.
* mark hunt was still good and stipe just easily dominated him
*werdum Just beat Cain and was in his prime when he fought stipe.
*roy Nelson was still good and is on 3 fight winning streak

I'm not sure that was English, but re reading your thread it makes even less sense. What fighter is in there physical prime at 38? None. They may still be good but they're not what they used to be and they're chins are no where near the same. Stipe is good but one of the more overrated guys in awhile

1. Hunt was much faster, more powerful and was 300 pounds (no limit, no weight cut in PRIDE) and 32 years old when he fought Fedor. Stipe fought a slow 41 year Hunt that still had no ground game and mentioned how he was suffering from a bad weight cut. The version Fedor fought was far more dangerous.

2.AA was 29 and ranked the #2 HW in the entire world when he fought Fedor and on a 5 fight win streak where he beat Werdum and KO'ed Roy Nelson, Ben Rothwell, PeDePano and Jake O'Brien. Stipe fought an older, slower and less capable AA.

Not Stipes fault but I agree with some people here. The UFC HW division is aging badly with many worn out veterans whose been fighting for a good decade or more. Not to mention many of them have had huge ups and downs in their career. Sure you could argue their longevity is attributed and a testament to hard work and talent but this does not happen in any other division ignoring WMMA aside and TRT Vitor

Hunt has been a BJJ brown belt since 2009. Just because he was submitted by black belts and black belt level grapplers doesn't make him an amateur.

HW has long been a geriatric division fulla shot fighters and remnants from a bygone era of MMA. That said it's hard to shit on Stipes resume when at HW anyone can get flat lined from 1 punch lol. He still went out there and did what no one else has been able to do.

Not faulting Stipe at all but we just have to see the truth for what it is. The division is in a bad state. A lot of shot fighters had career resurgences because of the lack of talent coming up.

Then the two best prospects are as one dimensional as they come: A head hunting puncher and a wrestler with no striking game. We’re back to square one. At least in the beginning, we had Olympic wrestlers and K-1 strikers(which used to mean something).
