Something about Stephens alway rubbed me the wrong way. He's one of the few fighters I've actively rooted against. Seeing Kattar and Aldo blast him brought me joy

Back in the UFC WEC DREAM STRIKEFORCE ETC days I personally thought Gilbert > the other orgs champs.

I still can’t believe his only UFC win is Diego. 1 - 6 in the UFC is insane to me. Even if he did have some fights he should have won he disappointed me.

Good call. Definitely an underrated fight. Stephens was around FOREVER and has one of the lowkey best resume of opponents out of anyone who never fought for the title. I also believe Gil should have won the decision against Bendo (even though he completely fell off a cliff after this).
