*Spoiler*Full TUF 24 cast leaked/announced

Just to add, I love the idea for the season and hope this becomes the norm - announce the weight-class and scour the regional promotions to cherry-pick the champions in said weight-class. No more tryouts, no more fighting to get in the house (although I do/did love that concept).

Was thinking about Damacio Page today cause he was on the Tapout show, and there was a thread about Tapout in the heavies. I didn't even know he was still fighting.

I got Pantoja as the favorite.

Alexandre Pantoja is my favorite to win but he may lose early to the other bjj specialist Ronaldo Candido de Oliveira.

------------------------------------------------------
Adam Antolin 11-3 — Tachi Palace Fights
Damacio Page 19-10 — Legacy FC
Matt Schnell 9-2 — Legacy FC
Kai Kara-France 12-5 — Bragging Rights (Australia)
Ronaldo Candido de Oliveira 6-0 — Shooto (South America)
Alexandre Pantoja 16-2 — Resurrection Fighting Alliance
Eric Shelton 10-2 — Caged Aggression (Iowa)
Matt Rizzo 9-2-1 — Ring of Combat
Terrence Mitchell 11-2 — Alaska FC
Brandon Moreno 11-3 — World Fighting Federation
Hiromasa Ogikubo 15-3-2 — Shooto (Japan)
Tim Elliott 13-6-1 — Titan FC
Charlie Alaniz 8-1 — Hex Fight Series (Australia)
Jaime Alvarez 6-1 — Absolute Fighting Championship
Nkazimulo Zulu 7-2-1 — EFC (Africa)
Yoni Sherbatov 5-0-1 — XFFC (Canada)

Oh Snap, Zulu Boy is in da house!

Here's a short video about him, that's the reason I remembered him.

Biggest question for this season is: Can Page actually stay healthy? He has a legit shot at winning with his power, but he's become so injury prone as of late that making it 6 weeks without any hiccups is a big question.
Damacio winning would be the worst-case scenario.

Page winning the show and then upsetting DJ would easily be the craziest sequence of events in MMA history lol

It really would. It'd be the equivalent of Joe Riggs winning Fight Master. Imagine whatever hype Page would get from 3 straight KO's..only to lose in 1 round to MM.

Damacio already lost to Pantoja. I don't see him beating Elliot either. Honestly, I'll be surprised if he can even make weight multiple times over the course of this season. They better have someone on backup like Jarred Brooks in case that happens.

I think Tim Elliott's gonna win and Tim has lost to several guys MM has beaten.

This is a great list, but it is a shame that Jarred Brooks isn't apart of this. He's more deserving than half the names.
The Brooks omission is a head scratcher. He's one of the smaller flyweights so making weight wouldn't be a concern plus he's like 15-0 if you count his amateur record, and people love undefeated records.

Elliot will probably get shit if he wins but honestly he was thrown to the wolves and only lost to Benavidez in my eyes. The others were really close decisions.

With that said, even if Page wins, I'm fine with it. MM will destroy whoever wins, so we really shouldn't be looking at it from that angle. I'm just excited to finally see a season of TUF with no cans. It's like the Quest of regional MMA.

He just recently signed a long deal with Pancrase, idk if maybe that has something to do with his omission. Also he's only the champ of an org that as far as I know has less than 10 events so that might have taken him out of the running. Might be a good thing for him though, he won't have to get fed to MM (if he wins) and can continue to improve while possibly becoming a 2 division champ.

Very excited for this season. Pietro Menga would have been awesome on here, but it's still a solid cast with several recognisable names.
Menga is trying to get into the UFC.

I don't know why he was left out. They also left out Rany Saadeh who is the BAMMA champ. Maybe it's a UK thing.

That sucks. Particulary excited about him because he's a hometown hero

Are you sure about the no cans thing, though?
I'm not judging these dudes, but lets just say Alaskan MMA has got a ridiculously poor reputation for guys padding their records against 0-0 dudes etc (Terrence Mitchell). And EFC is hardly a hot-bed of competition, is it? Yet Zulu has lost twice, there.

These aren't your typical TUF cans I agree, but to say all 16 dudes are properly legit is a bit of a stretch I reckon. Think of some of the guys who've held titles outside the UFC only to go 0-3 and get cut.

I am still looking forward to this though.

Perhaps he'd already signed for the Bellator fight and they wouldn't let him withdraw....only thing I can think of. Dude's awesome.

I watched vids of the fighters I was unfamiliar with and they all look good. There's no Strange Brew on this season.

Not bad. I'm interested in seeing how Ogikubo does.

I see what they are trying to do with this Champion "of the minor leagues" thing. However, I feel their idea to take all champions means we are also get a few subpar and champions rather than adding some talented young fighters with outstanding records. Some of the better fighters in this division just haven't stuck around with one organizations enough to get a belt or due to moving around couldn't remain organizations champion.

I would have much rather seen half the roster be Champions so they can promote that aspect and the the rest made up of some other top talents even if they don't happen to currently own a title. Split them up so the champs take on the best challengers round 1 and see how it comes out in the end.
