Back during wrestling in High School I was always more nervous about the guys that were ugly.

Miguel Torres was an early GOAT and rocked a badass MexiMullet. That knocks him up to at least handsome status!
 
Face proportionality is a major part of "handsomeness". If your face is well proportioned, it is likely that your whole body is also well proportioned, meaning your whole system is genetically "better " than average. You'll be faster, more athletic, have better eye hand coordination & generally have better/healthy mental aptitude due to being well received in society while growing up.
It's not always the case, but in general, the theory seems to confirm the facts.

It's because I'm bright enough to know a person's genetic make-up and how that translates to talent, intelligence, and skills is a lot more complex than how good looking someone they are.
