venator has an agreement with a company called jute sport for the supply of the adidas gloves


the company that provides them said they were not available

in contract that fighters sign there is a clause that suggest and says to the fighter to bring anyway with them their gloves they use in training

soukoudjou gloves were removed and set aside long before, examined, and returned only a few minutes before entering the cage

they were examined, checked and were all ok
the cutmen checked the gloves they were just a little worn and soft but still perfectly regular (4 oz)

for this reason the tape, and the signature was put just before entering in the cage


so the k.o so it did not depend on this ..

the problem was the size of the mma gloves,

venator company had not soukoudjou size of gloves(xxl)(as requested) , so he used his training gloves, he use in the gym

this explains why he used his personal gloves..

I don't see why Venator would allow him to cheat also? It's a bit of a PR nightmare to have one of your guys knock out a def guy with loaded gloves.
