Don’t get me wrong, I love gay jesus vs. rocksalt. But let’s be honest, the UFC doesn’t always book what we want.

Chris is coming off a win, and a rematch vs Rockhold is a compelling fight.

At the end of the day, Romero had his crack at the champ, and he came up short.

Jacare is fresh off surgery, and his last loss was to Bobby knux as well, so he has as much of a claim as Romero.

He’s coming off a stoppage loss to Whittaker (whereas Romero lost a close descision) as well as already losing (albeit a close) split descision to Romero.

Since losing to Romero he’s beaten Belfort and boetsch (then stopped by Whittaker).

Romero has beaten Weidman, who is a higher ranked opponent than those two, and who has beaten Belfort recently anyway, then lost a close one to Whittaker (not lost by stoppage).
Descision rematch Vs stoppage loss rematch.

Rockhold will beat romero then fight Whittaker ..and everything stays the same.. where as another guy may come in and beat Rockhold and fuck the whole picture up like weidman or jacare..so they have him the most beatable option and who was already training for a fight
