So where do you see your country in 50 years?

If Republicans keep getting elected, the working class will be living on crumbs instead of scraps.

If Democrats start winning:

Democrats and republicans are pretty much all neocons at the end of the day.

America had it's chance with Ron Paul but they didn't take it in favour of another term for a establishment neocon.

Doesn’t really justify a response, but I’ll play:

Please post a panoramic view of the great Republican metropolises of the United States.
Aren't most metropolises in America a result of capitalist policies? Only in recent years have we had this wave of socialism spreading across America.

First, way to bring “capitalism” into the argument. Because we all know that the first thing Democratic politicians like Clinton or Obama or the mayor of every major city does, is ABOLISH CAPITALISM. What a laughable line of thought.

Second, have you never heard of the New Deal? It’s this little government program that did things like build the roads and bridges millions of people still drive on today. And put up the telephone poles and electric lines in half of the country. Socialistic policies were at their peak during the times of greatest infrastructure development.

As more and more Countries become Westernized. America will be closer to taking over the World.

When the government takes half of every citizen's dollar (all taxes included), then I would hope they could build a couple of roads.

Do you think a free market couldn't build or maintain roads if they were just given 1% of every citizens dollar?

Government in essence is a group of people forcibly taking your money and telling you how to live your life. They decide how the money they take from you is spent. A free market gives you better choice, better competition and is mathematically proven to be economically optimal. Anytime government gets involved it moves the economy away from an optimal state.

It's funny how I can rarely find a person who supports the war on terror, yet it's the American government's #1 expense.

It's clear throughout the world today and through history: governments are corrupt. But for some reason we keep entrusting them with more and more power, both economically and socially.

I can guarantee that guys like @Devout Pessimist, @WorldofWarcraft, and company will be bitching about transgenderism, or transracialism, transspeciesism, or some obscure identity politics issue and voting for charlatans who manipulate them via those issues, all the while their political counterparts are still trying to alleviate poverty, balance the world economy, repair the planet, cure diseases, and just generally focus on adult issues.

I don't know the specifics: I just know a huge portion of the first world, being privileged enough to afford the distraction, will still be focusing on trivial and divisive shit to the detriment of concurrent efforts towards continuing to exist and such.

Great Britain will still be a gray and infuriating place to live, one or other of the Nationalist parties will have probably got what they want, and after the disastrous reign of Charles the Turd the monarchy will be on its uppers .
For the good of the continent and more importantly its self Germany will have left the EU .
The USA's turn at running the world will be over (they'll probably be happier for it) and the Chinese will be having a go at it .

New fuedal system where the vast majority of the population is little more than breeding stock, or star trek like, post resource scarcity economy.

Poland - Center of Christendom freedom democracy and strength of old Europe. One of the few left that was is and will always be European.

Will enjoy watching western europe get fucked by muslims all the way to becoming 3rd world shtiholes, will let in a few Swede french english refugees to preserve some of them for a bit longer.
You better hope Poland gets nukes by then, without NATO's nukes Poland and eastern Europe becomes Russia within 5 years.

The U.S. stays roughly the same but with more Mexicans and becomes more isolated in the geopolitical sphere, Europe goes hard right for a few decades to reverse negative demographic trends, Iran rules the Levant region while the Saudi's take over the gulf states and the Arabian peninsula, Africa get more developed but remains weak in geopolitics, central Asia sees several bloody civil war but the secular regimes come out on top and slowly deislamify the region, China reaches super power status, and east asia sees several major economic boom and busts.
