outside of conor/khabib the ppv buyrates of 2018 were abysmal

UFC 220 - 350k
UFC 221 - 150k
UFC 222 - 260k
UFC 223 - 350k
UFC 224- 85k
UFC 225 - 250k
UFC 226 - 380k
UFC 227 - 300k
UFC 228 - 130k
UFC 230 - 250k

so when is ufc gonna realize that they have a total of 1 ppv draw and without conor the highest ufc can do is around 350k

When profits decrease significantly enough to warrant action.

When it isn’t profitable.

Khabib vs GSP will do damn well.

Brock vs DC will also sell a ton.

Jones vs DC would be pretty nice too

UFC will make about $200k in PPV gross in 2018
That is why they are not getting rid of it

If they get the expected better % beginning January, it will even be more reason

I think 12 a year is too much, but it still makes a lot of money

250k @ $60 = $15 mill even if they only keep half of it there's usually $1 mill+ from the live gate and they also sell it to other countries so they're probably pulling in $9-10 mill.

How many cards do they pay anything like that out to the fighters? None. The only fighter that gets that sort of money is Conor.

Their PPV model is still doing just fine for them.

When Connor signs with Golden Boy MMA and fights Canelo for one of his Super Light Middleweight belts.

Basically never.

UFC PPV model is successful when compared to other sports. No other organisation has a dedicated fanbase like UFC. Here even the crappiest card guarantees them 100k buys. Its working fine for them.

But 100k in buys makes them less than ESPN+ is paying per card

350k x $60 == $21m so probably not anytime soon unfortunately.

news flash not all fights sell 2 million each fight. ppvs arent going any where with the new deal they just signed

100k is worst case scenario, average would be higher. Altho these guys must've calculated the pros and cons. Surely they're making more money from PPV. Why else would they continue this.
