So Stipe Miocic started trash talking..

Lol its funny how people trash Stipe for wanting to box, when he probably stands a better chance vs Joshua than Mac does vs Money. Stipe's boxing has looked more complete than Macgregor's imo.

Extra cringey on Stipe's part... Stipe is the one begging to fight AJ in HIS sport, not the other way around. It reeks of desperation. Stipe should stay in his lane and focus on MMA.

True story, but he knocked their head clean off in doing so. Also, he actually had legit HWs like Lewis and Evander to expose him. This kid has an aged out of prime Klitchsko and Fury...
Both Lewis and Holyfield were passed their primes when they knocked out Tyson.

Except a lot of Tyson's opponents during his first reign were pretty good fighters (that whole mid to late 80s era had a lot of legitimate but underachieving talent). As in they'd easily be elite HWs today.
No they wouldn't and he avoided the top heavyweights of his era. He ducked old man Foreman badly.

Which HWs did he avoid during his reign? Foreman hadn't positioned himself as a contender before Tyson lost to Douglas. The Holyfield fight was as good as signed if Tyson were to have beaten Douglas (and there have always been rumours that the new three fight deal that would have been signed included Foreman). After he lost his title, the first thing he did was take on the man viewed as the most ducked fighter in the division at the time (Razor Ruddock) and proceeded to beat him twice. Now, after he lost to Douglas, there have always been rumblings about King wanting to keep Tyson away from Foreman, but we're talking about Tyson's title reign, and Foreman was never a legitimate contender during Tyson's reign.

As for his competition during his reign, do you actually think Tony Tucker wouldn't be elite in this era (and in the post-Lewis era)? Tony Tubbs wouldn't be elite? Old Holmes wouldn't be elite? Hell, the likes of Pinklon Thomas, Bonecrusher Smith, Michael Spinks (let's not forget that CWs moving up like David Haye were elite in this era, and Alexander Povetkin, another elite HW from this era, arguably lost to Marco Huck; both Haye and Huck would be soundly beat by Michael Spinks), Frank Bruno, and even Tyrell Biggs would have a chance of being elite in either Wlad's era or this current one.

Mike Tyson is far from the greatest HW of all time, but people constantly go way too far in the other direction when evaluating his career. He had a decent (not great, but decent) reign and then went on to beat several other solid fighters later in his career.

"Prime" Tyson is the GOAT and unbeatable. There you go.

Stipe has got really big-headed since he won his title, if you notice him he's always trying to act like some big cool dude who doesn't gargle rocks
