According to the report by variety UFC is gonna be shitting money with their new TV deal.

How bout we get some of dat coin for the fighters?

Dana doesnt need more snow in his driveway. FIghters need to eat motherfuckers.

Where you at motherfuckers? where you at?

They are so poor that they can't pay the fighters win bonuses after their golden child threw a dolly to a bus window

After this deal...Im sure the UFC will have enough to survive.

I'm just hoping with the extra money they can sign Punk to a more lucrative deal

They need this money to lure Rhonda back and sell us on how her vs Betch is for the legit belt.

Lest we forget:

They actually paid fighters their show money this time but I'm sure they are planning on getting that back in a lawsuit.

"All this new contract money goes to the fighters"

Good to know...now they won't go bankrupt by making an event in Russia

The 400 million annual deal comes with a lot of expenses on the UFC's part. It's hard to know how much of the 400 million is actual profit.

Than there is the 280 million in interest the UFC has to pay for the 4.2 billion buy out.

The deal is going to effect the UFC to the point that they are bringing down the number of PPV's to 6 annually.

I believe the Reebok deal is almost over, and that is where they will make there money, with the new TV deal; advertisement will be much more lucrative.

You fuckin guise! You act as if these fighters aren't fuckin swimming in Reebok pussy and money, just so you make Ari Gold look bad.
If you started this thread and don't have at least two Fight Pass accounts, you don't care about the fucking fighters or their families.

That is not true
The interest is $137m

There really isn't much pressure on them to raise what they pay out until either anti-trust legislation (which, given current ideological preferences in the US, is unlikely), some form of a fighters syndicate (which is more complicated in combat sports than team sports), or legitimate promotional competition which can likely only be properly fostered by the aforementioned anti-trust legislation becomes a reality. So, probably not a whole lot more unless we see some rather novel developments.

so how much do nfl owners pay the players from the tv deals that right none.

owners keep all they can cause it what owners do. how many more million do jerry jones and robert kraft need.

Roughly fuck all, as they're all under contract already. Bellator will still be paying less with their 300,000 viewers on free TV, and the added bonus of sponsorships would make no difference to 95% of fighters. When you run the game, you make the rules.

As @FrankieNYC already pointed out, you're incorrect with the interest amount. You're also incorrect when you say "deal comes with a lot of expenses on the UFC's part." The UFC costs will go DOWN with the new TV deal. Not only will Fox/ESPN handle production (which will save the UFC a ton), but there'll be fewer PPVs, so less cost there. As for less PPV sales, I doubt the annual total drops much. Fewer cards will almost certainly lead to those that remain selling more, thus the net total of PPV sales in a year probably won't drop much.

Hey man
While I think it is a good guess that ESPN/Fox will handle production, that is not a guarantee.
But this deal is a positive for sure.

Now will fighter pay go up?
That depends on what you consider up.
UFC paid more in 2015 than 2014 (both total & %) & more the following year (2016)
The 2015 was 13% & 2016 17%
No numbers on 2017 yet
It seems like fighter purses have gone up as far as guarantees, but they cut a lot of the Fertitta era "backroom bonuses"
