So Dana effectively has put Ngannou in the Dog House. Is this Kimbo Slice II?

Ngannou goes 5-1 in local European leagues in 18 months, all wins inside 2 rounds.

Gets picked up by the UFC, does 5 Foxes and FNs, all but 1 in the USA, wins them all inside 2 rounds and gets POTN for the last 2.

Gets comain on a numbered US card (218, Overeem), wins by 1st round KO and gets KO of the year.

Gets owned and embarrassed by Stipe.

Humbled Ngannou stands in front of Lewis for 15 minutes unable to pull the trigger due to being psychologically broken. Later reports that Dana is no longer taking his calls.

Now he's back on the Fight Nights and the UFC is sending him to China to to rematch someone he already beat and was very lucky to do so (Blaydes on his UFC debut, stopped by a cut over the eye).

Now I would never make accusations of wrongdoing without solid evidence but what I can say is a lot of people have been pointing the finger at Francis's weight gain and tremendous muscle definition and rumours have been circulating about brown envelopes covering the eyes of USADA inspectors.

Now Francis is about to go 0-3 in his last 3, Blaydes will take him down immediately and hold him down until his cardio is gone, then GNP for a violent win like against Overeem.

Where will Francis be after going 0-3? Will he lose his USADA top cover? Now it is clear he is not beating top opponents or getting near a belt? No longer pushing the needle? The hype seems to have melted right away.

His grappling, cardio and heart are not UFC level. He was never Dana's friend.

With a revenge win Blaydes will springboard to a TS having beaten every man he has faced in the UFC (yeah technically Milstead was an NC for cannabis lol) and Ngannou will just be... irrelevant, maybe send him down to the prelims on regional cards at best? Or could it be time for Bellator.

It's coz Ngannou tried to big time the UFC when he had some buzz.

Dana and the UFC got behind him as this next big star

He embarrassed them in front of a lot of people

So yeah Dana is pissed

Hell naw.

Ngannou actually beat some top ranked guys, and has legit one-punch KO power.

He actually beat Blaydes, who is a top contender, with a solid wrestling base.

That said, it looks like Stipe stole his soul, so he needs another solid win or two to climb back up into contention.

Exhibit A: Vitor VS Jones- ‘Covering up a positive test result to salvage a pay-per-view.’

You’re more correct in your hypothesis than the naive dick lickers on the forum will give you credit for.

I think the UFC/Dana is disappointed in him. They had high hopes for him but he let them down, so probably.

His fight against Lewis was horrendous.

He tried to be bigger than the UFC

This is what you get

Unless you're Conor

I still wish badly that Ngannou had knocked Stipe out.

And DC, too.

Imagine we lived in a world where Ngannou knocked out Miocic, Cormier, Lewis, AND Lesnar all back to back. What a stud he'd be. Beating a superstar the caliber of Lesnar alone would almost ensure that he'd become a big draw of some kind.

Ngannou can't ever fight like he did against Lewis again. That was embarrassing.

All else is a moot point.

Lewis was really no better than Ngannou in their fight and he will be fighting for the title. Lewis' cardio and grappling are even worse than Ngannou's. Ngannou is fine being in the UFC and still has a lot of potential. He didn't have the grappling tools needed to hang with Stipe and yet he hung in there for 5 rounds. The UFC heavyweight division needs all of the help that it can get. Ngannou stays.
